Vleis crowned chap

Selvin Naidoo

LAST Thursday was the Castle Lager Singles Knock-out compo at Huletts Club in Empangeni.
With many prizes up for grabs, 32 players fought for the knock-out crown and winner of the cup section was Vleis van der Westhuizen.
Runner up was André Dewinaar.
Winner of the plate section was Raj Praag with Selvin Naidoo as runner-up.
The final format was best out of five games and both were won in the deciding game.
Consistent darts were played by all individuals throughout the series with Selvin Naidoo recording yet another 180.
At present 10 players have recorded 180 scores with André Dewinaar having scored three and set to take the Andrew Lottering Memorial Trophy for the player who records the most for the season.
More knock-out compos are scheduled for the next two weeks at the Huletts Club, starting at 7pm.
Entry fee is R5 for registered players and R10 for non-registered players.

Upcoming
Another league is scheduled to commence at the beginning of September.
Registration to this league is open to any interested individuals.
