AFTER two months of
negotiating, the bus
companies of Zululand and
community representatives
have agreed to limit price
hikes to a nine percent
across-the-board annual
increase.
Numerous meetings were held
to negotiate rates with
representatives of local
residents who in turn
explained the situation to
their communities and
reported back to the
companies.
The companies involved were
Masithembe, Ikwezi,
Mtubatuba Transport, Ulundi
Transport and Mtunzini
Buses.
